Home of the Week for July 30

Spicewood is just west of Austin. There's not much to the town of Spicewood, but it is an up and coming area for residential construction. I believe Willie Nelson lives out there.

This amazing waterfront estate has views for miles on over 4+ private acres. The home boasts 8 bedroom, 13 living areas, 14 baths, 2 gourmet kitchens with 8 refrigerators and 7 dishwashers. Can you say par-tay?!

Listing Price:
$12,750,000
Annual Taxes:
$98,200

I wish there were more interior views, but with outdoor views like this house has, I don't imagine one would spend that much time inside.

We were just at Lakeway two weeks ago! My best friend bought a house on the lake right across from Lakeway's marina. It's sooooooooooo gorgeous!!!! omg - to die for!!!!

Spicewood is the place to be now on Lake Travis - everyone is talking about how beautiful it is. I'll have to drive by next time I'm there.

Goodness, do y'all have some money around there or what? I just want a little cottage on that lake. Just a teeny-tiny cottage. :-)

(I love your mirror score!)

You need to take pics, Joni! So many wonderful homes and locations in and around Austin, huh?

Lisa, I think even the teeny tiny cottages on Lake Travis are going for much dinero these days. :-(

Ok...that baby is over the top for me. Well, I'll take the view...but the rest is just too rich for my blood!

I couldn't even IMAGINE living in something like that...and I don't think I would want to! I have a hard enough time keeping things straight in my little 834 square foot condo.

Thanks for the comment on my blog today! I did finally do the gumball machine fish bowl. I have a DIY section on my website, and that will be the next project I feature. After it's posted, I don't mind at all if you put it on your blog. Thanks for the visit!

Sandra - how are you? Just stopped in for a visit. Please come by and see me.... I added your blog to my list - hope that's ok!

Love your piece on Amarillo. It makes me miss our home of 6 years... I think we are going to try to go back for WT's homecoming weekend this year.

Would love to hear from you!
