Home of the Week

The Texas Hill Country encompasses a large geographical area. The largest cities in the Hill Country are San Antonio and Austin. Smaller communities include Wimberley, Fredericksburg, Comfort and others. Texas has many beautiful areas, but it's hard to beat the Hill Country, which is identified, of course, by its hilly terrain, and an abundance of live oak trees.

Today's home is new construction in Boerne, TX, which is a small town near San Antonio. With 4400 square feet, the home features stucco with rock accent exterior, and four bedrooms, each with their own baths. It's too bad there aren't more pictures of the interior. It looks like a fabulous home. And it can be yours for just $895,000.

Just a reminder about this Friday's first Friday Cocktail blog party. Feel free to add the Friday Cocktail button on my sidebar. To upload the YouTube video, once you're at YouTube and at the video you want, there's a little section to the top right of the video itself. It says something like "embed URL." Copy that and then paste it into the body of your post.

I'll get Mr. Linky situated, and you'll come here to include the permalink of your post (not the general blog link). So easy! I hope you'll join in the fun.

I love the outside look of this house. I am so in love with that kitchen! That's what I want to do to ours, the white cabinets and beige/tanish backsplash..

Yes...It is the outside that I like, too!

Ahh the hill country! I grew up in SA, but we didn't have houses like that around when I was growing up!

Beautiful home, Sandra.

When I see stone houses I'm reminded of Texas Hill Country. When we were driving home from Hermann, last week, we drove through a housing development. One of the homes strongly resembled those Texas homes. I love the style! Perhaps it's my paternal Texas roots calling to me.
