Today is the first Friday Cocktail blog party. I have no idea how many party guests we'll have, but we'll have a great time with few or many.

Today's Friday Cocktail is by Ray LaMontagne. This guy has a smooth, yet raspy voice. I can't quite put my finger on why, but something about him reminds me of the 70's folk singers like Dan Fogelberg and J.D. Souther. You may be more familiar with the Chris Sligh version of "Trouble" from American Idol a few years ago. His is good, but it's hard to beat Ray LaMontagne's. Enjoy!

Me again, I got my video embedded in my post! How do I know who else is participating, so I can visit everyone? I'll just fix a pitcher of margaritas and start sipping while I wait to see who else is participating....

I just found your blog and I must say I love it so! I love the hill country and it is my number one spot to move to one day (if I can ever convince my husband).
