Outdoor Spaces

I know it's fall, and some of you may be ready to hunker down for the winter, but here in the Texas Hill Country, the weather in fall is absolutely spectacular. Afternoon highs in the 80's and morning lows in the 50's -- truly scrumptious! We have a large lot, and one of these days, we'd like to create a wonderful outdoor space where we can retreat at the end of a busy day and long commute. Until then, a girl can dream...

This last outdoor fireplace belongs to my friend, Amber, from Blue Mango. Isn't it a great space?

I could roast some serious marshmallows in these outdoor fireplaces. Can't you just taste the gooey, sweet center as you bite through the golden brown, crusty outside? Yum!

Don't forget the hershey bars and graham crackers.
I could handle s'more of those images. It's getting chilly here in Ky.
Thanks for warming me up :)

Suzette, I added some more pics, including Amber's as the last one, so now your comment is funny! LOL

One of my favorite topics Sandra! I loved all of them. Are some of those from Sunset? Some looked familiar, and of course Amber's casa was easily recognizable! :-) Love her space.

Christy, thanks for stopping by! I pulled all the pics off the Net, so some may be from Sunset and just not labeled that way. Aren't they great?

Wonderful post, Sandra.

Amber's outdoor space has always been a favorite of mine.

Oh, these hurt me. I would LOVE to have a big outdoor space. We have a very, teeny outdoor patio. BUT, I'm thankful for it and just remember living in an apartment. Yikes, there was NO outdoor space there.

I'm just in love with all of those outdoor spaces Sandra. I don't know if you caught the blog about the brick I got for free - we plan on putting up a pergola off the garage next summer. I can't wait. I've always loved it, and I'm already dreaming up decorating ideas for next years big "End of Summer" Party! I'm probably going to have End of June, July, August, and September parties, I've gotten so many great ideas! ;)

Hi Sandra :)

Those are gorgeous!! We just roasted marshmallows... how funny :)

Oh and I bought the dishes at JC Penny's and they still have them. They are perfect for everyday use.

ahhhh. utdoors...we have all doors and windows open to the breezes now! Just last weekend I painted the ceiling of our covered area by the pool a greeny/bluey gray. Also put a piece of funiture and a big carved mirror up. LOVE this time of year!!

Great pix...think the last one was my fave ;)

I love outdoor spaces! Hopefully our new deck will be a place we can enjoy for many years. Trust me, you do NOT want to see a picture of the current "patio."
