Hi Sandra,
I love the one with the red wall...I have seen it before and actually printed it out to put in my "do someday book." When (that's a big when) we move to the country that is what I want my wall behind my fireplace to look like.

Yes the mantels are done, but neither as elaborate as some of these gorgeous mantels!
I'd have to say the one I like best is the lodgey one, with the stone fireplace and red wall.
Wow. Number 5 is striking. I have often heard designers say to go with a theme--and this definitely is running with it. Now, why didn't I think of that?

Great mantle ideas! My last house didn't have a mantle over the fireplace, so in the new house I'm planning on at least four!!

Love all the mantels. Mine is silver and white this year in the LR. So I am loving any of them that are like that. This year anyway.
