Lip Smackin' Good

Are you a dollar store fanatic? There's not a dollar store close to my house or my office, so I don't get there very often. When I do, though, I find myself browsing every aisle. I made a trip to the dollar store a week ago and was as giddy as a school girl when I saw all the new, exciting flavors of lip balm.

I can eat Good & Plenty candy by the bushel, as long as the licorice is soft, so I was tickled to see Good & Plenty lip gloss. Not only does it smell like Good & Plenty, but it tastes like it, too. And calorie free!

Maybe you're not a licorice person. Don't worry. Surely there's a flavor to suit your fancy.

If you're like me and slather on lip gloss like it's going out of style, and if you have a bit of a sweet tooth but would rather forego the calories, you must check out the lip balms at your local Dollar Tree. I promise you'll see a flavor you like.

This is post #94, edging a little closer to that magical 100. All those who leave comments between post #90 and #100 will be entered to win one of three fun prizes. Each comment is worth one chance to win, and if you mention the giveaway on your blog, you'll be entered for that, too!

This post cracked me up! The flavors just kept going and going and going...... I used to LOVE going to the drugstore with my mom and getting to choose a lip smacker! This brings back good memories.

Yummy! My fav would be the Good N Plenty too. If you buy them in the bag, they are soft...the boxes are usually hard...

I had no idea, Sandra! The Diet Dr Pepper would probably be one I'd like..have given it up..too much sodium..perhaps the lip balm would satisfy my Diet DP craving.

Had no idea there were so many flavors. Do you think using this stuff would make you crave the "real thing"? :-)

Now I want some Good and Plenty! (with soft licorice of course)...

(And I'd have to buy some DQ lip balm just for nostalgia's sake...)

Those are great stocking stuffers, Sandra! I'll have to see if I can find some out here. I loved Bonne Belle Lip Smackers as a kid! Now I'm a Carmex addict!

No, Nola, I didn't buy them all. LOL I did buy the Good N Plenty stick, but the other ones are pretty darn intriguing. Yep, CB, dessert without the calories. LOL

Yikes! I kept expecting to see the end, and you kept showing me more and more. Totally cracked me up.

I haven't even found mint in Germany. How could anyone choose just one of those? (Or maybe that's the marketer's idea...?) hehe
